Happy Friday, everyone! I hope that you all have a fun-filled weekend ahead of you, whatever you may have planned. We will be heading to Myrtle Beach this weekend to spend some time with my mom. The weather in the Carolinas is supposed to be pretty miserable this weekend, so I am envisioning a lot of Christmas movies in our immediate future.
Now let’s get down to business! I have compiled a list of some of my favorite gift suggestions for little boys. Gavin already has a couple of these items and LOVES them, and may even be finding a couple more under the tree come Christmas morning. If you are shopping for a little guy in your life, hopefully you can find some of these suggestions helpful!
Plasma Car- Gavin received this gadget from his aunt and uncle for his third birthday, and absolutely loves it! It rides low to the ground, so you don’t really need to worry about any sort of crash collisions. Highly recommend for wiggly little kids!
Playmags 100 Piece Set – Playmags……not as expensive as their cousin, Magnatiles, but even better reviews? I will call that a win! I would love for Gavin to spend more time building and creating as he gets older. Great quality…..these will stand the test of time, and be able to be used for years!
LEGO Juniors Lightning McQueen- It’s time for the LEGOS to begin. Gulp. We all know that LEGOS aren’t cheap, but they are a childhood staple. If your child is not quite ready for a standard size, start with the Juniors.
Lincoln Logs – Another childhood staple that doesn’t come cheap. However, I just can’t wait to begin designing log cabins with Gavin, so……Gavin may be getting a set of these.
Also…..Playmags, Lincoln Logs, and LEGOS also make great gift suggestions. Since it can be expensive to buy the larger sets, you can always suggest that family/friends add on to the collection with smaller sets.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DUPLO- Since we are toying with the idea of a Disney Cruise this fall, I thought I would introduce Gavin to some Mickey Mouse. DUPLOS make great gifts for toddlers, and boys and girls both would love this set.
Lion King DVD– Lion King was released from the vault earlier this year. I am trying to build Gavin’s DVD collection, and this one is a classic for sure. DVD’s make awesome gifts for kids of all ages.
Melissa & Doug Pizza Party- Have a budding chef in your house? You can’t go wrong with this Melissa & Doug Pizza Party set. Have your little one practice their hand coordination with this cute pizza slicer!
Hot Wheels Parking Garage- This will be the BIG gift from Santa under the tree this year. I can’t wait to see the look on Gavin’s face when he sees it. He will go nuts!
Candyland- I am trying to systematically build our board game collection, since I feel like playing games with your child is so important for their development. I also love playing games together as a family.
Little Tikes Gas ‘N Go Mower – If your little one likes to help “cut the grass”, this mower would be an adorable addition. Put ’em to work early, I say!
- Color Wonder Paper
- Experience gifts (some ideas might be tickets to Monster Truck Jam, Paw Patrol Live, or a movie. Memberships to zoos/museums are also great ideas!)
- Money for college fund
Happy shopping, friends!
